HKS S-Type intercooler kits
HKS S-type intercooler kits are front mount units utilizing either a 600mm x 301mm x 65mm core or a 600mm X 244mm x 65mm core or a 600mm x 244mm x 65mm core. The larger core is efficient up to 450hp and the smaller core to 400HP. All S-type utilize a multiple loop shape on the outer fins and a straight through design on the inner fins; allowing the pressurized air to quickly pass through.
HKS intercooler kits are application specific upgrade kits for factory intercooled turbocharged vehicles. Designed individually for each application, intercooler size and placement are calculated for maximum efficiency and performance. The intercooler upgrade kits are deigned to mount in the factory intercooler location are enhanced in overall size, flow capacity and cooling efficiency well over the capability of the stock units.
Each HKS intercooler kit utilizes an application specific tube and fin intercooler core with cast aluminum end-tanks, as well as mandrel bent intercooler pipes and silicone joint hoses. The metal intercooler piping of each kit, which replaces the stock rubber hoses that tend to expand under boost, offer increased durability, consistent boost pressure, better response and an attractive appearance. All the necessary brackets, hardware and fittings are also included for a complete bolt on installation.
All application specific HKS intercooler systems and upgrade kits are CARB exempt. (CARB E.O. # D-186-21)
